PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

The Wix Stores checkout process is secured by HTTPS / TLS encryption and it is safe for your customers to purchase from your Wix site.
TLS (Transport Layer Security) is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and secure. The Urban Hound uses Square as the card Payment Gateway processing system. Square adheres to the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), Level 1. Square performs data encryption within the card reader at the moment of swipe. Security updates and patches are installed on servers and equipment in a timely fashion. Web development follows industry-standards secure coding guidelines, such as those recommended by OWASP. Square prohibits storage of card numbers, magnetic stripe data, and security codes on client services. Square uses industry-standard cryptographic protocols and message formats (such as SSL/TLS and PGP) when transferring data.
